    Position summary

    LL BE DOING:**

    The Strategic Planning Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data, deriving insights and developing models regarding pricing, packaging, and inventory.

    HOW YOU’LL BE CONTRIBUTING:

    • Manage and publish sports audience data “Sports Tracks” in PowerBI
    • Gather relevant TV audience data via Nielsen tools
    • Analyze and report on linear cost and inventory usage trends
    • Partner with the Data Science team to help shape sports audience estimates model; provide analysis and QC support for new estimates
    • Maintain high-profile sports templates, including audience estimates
    • Work with MVPDs on various planning projects to drive revenue growth
    • Collaborate with Sales Planners to develop sports planning resources
    • Support day-today requests across offices

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • 2-3 years advertising related experience
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, power pivot)
    • Working Knowledge of SQL and PowerBI
    • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects at once
    • Work independently and proactively on projects and follow through to completion
    • Be a self-starter with an aptitude for defining new processes
    • Propensity to think “outside the box” and explore those new ideas
    • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required
    • Must possess a passion to drive the business forward

    The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Ampersand salary range for this position in New York City Metro Area. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance

    The range listed is just one component of Ampersand’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary annual bonuses and / or overtime, commission, etc., as well as competitive benefits including PTO, medical & dental & vision benefits, 401K with employer match, short & long-term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, pre-tax commuter benefits & flexible spending accounts.

    Salary Range Transparency

    This role has a New York City Metro Area base salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 and discretionary annual bonus.
